Samsung Galaxy S4 Vs iPhone 5S
After a series of rumors, Samsung is
finally out with its next generation “Samsung Galaxy S4” at a press event at
Radio City Music Hall in New York city, Thursday. There had been heated
discussions worldwide whether the upcoming galaxy S4 would overcome the existing
iPhone devices or iPhone 5S. But techno
pundits say the Korean Smartphone makers’ Galaxy S4 is not the device which can
have any impact on its rival, Apple. Gradually, iPhone 5S is expected to be the
outperformer and will outsell Galaxy S4.
Analysts are quite impressed with a feature
of Galaxy S4- the super AMOLED display, with a pixel density of 441 per inch,
which is quite superior than iPhone 5S’s pixel density of 326 per inch. But
what lags the former behind is that analysts could find only this feature of
Galaxy S4 superior, else it is heavier, fatter and less refined than iPhone 5S.
When the two were compared with their
corresponding previous generations, the following results were obtained:
IPhone 5S was found to be 20% lighter than
iPhone 4S, on the other hand Galaxy S4 is only 8% thinner and 2% lighter than
Galaxy S3.
Also the aluminium body of iPhone 5S keeps
it a step ahead of its competitor Galaxy S4.
When the two Smartphones were compared
keeping them side by side, the Galaxy S4 was noticed to be a lot bigger. Its huge 5 inch screen
makes it more of a phablet than a cosy 4 inch IOS device.
The following are the exact technical

Another major difference seems that Galaxy
S4 comes with the latest version of Android i.e. 4.2.2 Jelly bean, on the
contrary, iPhone 5S is using is 6.1.2 which is comparatively much easier to use
and so will be well suited to beginners. At present, there is not any price
release for Galaxy S4, but for sure, it will burden the pocket of the customers.
The most attractive feature that we are
seeing on TV ads is the scrolling of pages through eye senses in Galaxy S4,
which is certainly a new technology in the Smartphone market.
So what I can interpret now is that the
Korean Smartphones makers’ Galaxy S4 is good, but certainly not an iPhone
killer.
