Top 7 Tech Toys of 2014 that will Force You to Spend Your Money

Technology has literally changed our lives; there are apps and products that can take you from one place to another in a matter of seconds, all whilst you’re sitting at home. There are hundreds of gadgets and toys available in the market today, but only a few are worth the price. Here are 7 technological toys that are worth checking out.

Normal earphones

These are custom earphones that fit snugly in your ear, all you have to do is take a few photographs with a smartphone and normal’s app and it’ll 3-D print the headphones. These headphones are built especially for you and feel practically weightless once they’re in. The sound is awesome and the earphones work pretty well in blocking out any outside noise. So if you’re tired of earphones that continuously keep popping out when you’re on the move, normal earphones are the best antidote. You just need an app and 3D printer and Voila, tailor made, personalized earphones at your service.

Razer Nabu smartband

The wearable smartband, that’s not exactly a smart watch and it’s not exactly a fitness band, but a smartband that comes with a range of unique features.
It comes with two small screens or OLED displays, one of which works as a fitness tracker and the other lets you see emails, notifications, texts and calls. Compatible with both Android and iOs, it comes with a battery life of 5 to 7 days.
Oh, if you can’t be bothered to check notifications, just shake your wrist, yes, literally. Just make sure it’s the band wearing wrist and not the other way around.

Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector

This is for looking for a real movie theatre experience. A full screen , rather a full 147 inch LED TV screen is projected right on your wall , you can watch movies, art, photos, slideshows , anything in full HD clarity. Every single little detail is projected and you can turn your room into a mini theater.
It also comes in a sleek, modern design, with built in speakers so don’t worry about old, hefty, noisy projectors. The only downside is the price, but if you’re willing to indulge yourself then go ahead.

Misfit shine

Misfit Shine is a fitness tracker that may look like one of the many wearables designed for fitness enthusiasts but it’s not. For one, it looks absolutely awesome, like a little shiny disc which can be worn any way you like, like a pendant or you can clasp it onto your fitness gear or simply wear it on the wrist.

It keeps track of your activities, from walking and running to even monitoring sleep patterns. Since it is waterproof, it can also be worn during swimming and surfing. All in all, a very stylish, smooth and effective device.

Nixie the wearable selfie drone

This is by far the coolest little gizmo I’ve ever come across. It literally taps into the whole selfie crazy. Known as “The first wearable camera that can fly”, it can be worn as a bracelet and commanded to either follow you as you move or return to you after shooting or taking pictures. Once it’s in the air, it detects your movements and begins capturing a video. Soon to be released in the market, I’m sure it’ll have hundreds of takers

Panano cameraball

Another absolutely cool toy you can check out. This lets you capture 360 degree aerial photos. All you have to do is throw it in the air and it’ll capture anything and everything in your direction, kind of like Google street view.

It’s built like a softball and consists of 36 camera modules plus a memory, processor and accelerometer.

You can also mount it on a tripod or a pole like a video camera and it’ll take 360 degree pictures simultaneously. Not to mention the picture quality, it is absolutely astounding, lucid and clear.

The dash

Launched by amazon, this device is bound to change the way you shop. Call it a shopping assistant, it literally scans barcodes, comes with a microphone for voice search and adds items to your shopping list. The only downside is that you can only order groceries, food and other goods from amazon fresh. It comes in with a loop which can be used to hang the device anywhere at home and order anything you like, without leaving your home or the computer screen, though I won’t recommend it for people who’re lazy!
